If you are fortunate enough to live in beautiful Sidney BC, there are amazing events throughout August both at The Peninsula and Norgarden, and also in the city scape itself!

There are concerts every Sunday in the bandshell on Beacon, and if you want to explore the city of Sidney, check out this link and explore the many (and many of the free) offerings throughout August

This month Kathleen is once again offering two themed dinners – a Country and Western themed dinner (complete with accompanying entertainment) on August 15th. Come dressed as your best cowboy or cowgirl. There will be an award for best dressed!

On August 29th it is a Pajama themed dinner, and yes dinner will be breakfast for dinner. Prizes for the best dressed!

For those of you with a penchant for ice-cream, treats will be available at 2pm on August 2nd and August 23rd.

On August 23rd the JOY group (for the ladies) will head to Church and State Wines. Come along for a magical luncheon in a beautiful vineyard. The Gentleman’s club will reconvene in September.

The book club is reading “The Far Side of the Sky” by Daniel Kalla this month. Join them in the Hummingbird Room at 2pm on August 29th. For a peak at who Daniel Kalla is, click on this link.

And while the temperature is on course to break heat records this month, here is a lovely reminder of the snowfall we had in February.

For the rest of the events Kathleen has planned for August, please see the calendars for Norgarden and The Peninsula below!
